Gordie Lachance
Age: 12 - 13
Gordie is shown as an insecure kid who is neglected by his parents, in scenes in the movie it is shown that his parents barely speak to him since the death of his brother, and even when they were alive they still put him second to his brother.
Gordie ends up becoming very brave towards the end of the movie where he pulls a gun out to defend Chris when Ace threatens to stab him for trying to take the dead body. He’s very emotional as shown in the scene with Chris when he breaks down and starts crying cause he thinks his parents hate him. Gordie is generally considered the most responsible of the boys, he is also the most quiet as he doesn’t talk nearly as much as the other boys. It is shown through flashbacks that his brother DennyLachance, is his hero.
